Yeah, they didnt even say anything after i made the pass either, i really dont think byron gives a damn. Can you guys see the video?

Can't see video cause I'm at work. Your 11.5 pass wouldn't have been too much lower of an ET had the boost stayed on full (maybe a tenth or 2 at best) but the mph would have definitely been better. Remember most of your ET is made up through the first half of the track.
Congrats on the passes though, they are damn impressive. 129 is scootin, just get that thing to hook halfway decently and you should be able to run some low 11s. 10s are possible if you can REALLY get it to stick (read low 1.6 or better 60 foots)

The only thing people at byron yell at you for is speeding in the pits. He hates it.
I can see the video. Nice run.

Yeah, slicks were still around 15 psi and the 2step was only at 4500 rpms. I need a 3.5 bar map sensor and i can sneak a few more psi in. 10's on a stock motor sound good...even better on gas that cost 2.35 a gallon lol

Yea getting the suspension dialed in, slick pressure, and of course track prep is going to be the ticket to 10s if that's what you are going for.
Another pound or 2 of boost will help a little but you are already past the point where it is all about putting it down and not about making more power.
And yea E85 is nice as long as you have the fuel system for it.
This is all on a t3/t4 .57 trim? If so color me very impressed!

journal bearing .57 with a 360 thrust bearing. Single 044 intank pump, -6an feed and stock 03 rail. I have n2mbs boost by gear box, 1st gear was set at 14 psi to start the day and i ended at about 17 psi. 26-27 psi 2nd-5th, overboost is set at 28. Still can put the car on a pretty healthy diet. I didnt even remove the heavy ass sub i stuck in the stock kicker box or the amp thats powering it. Next time out im pretty sure i can shave atleast 100lbs off the car.

what did the ZR1 actually run?? looked like he was counting sheep at the start :p don't zr1's usually trap upper 120's?? nice runs, start practicing faster shifting and run some low 11's

pretend like you're aiming for the gate in between 2 and 4 and don't ham fist it.. i used to only use 3 fingers to shift and it seemed to work.. also don't let up on the gas :p
i think the zr1 took off at idle and didn't floor it right away.. 2.10 60' = bleh

to be perfectly honest the WOT shift from 1-2 is by far the most important, 2-3 only makes a little difference and wot 3-4 is almost negligible. The first 1/8th (1/16th really) mile is by far the most important. Get the weight sorted and most importantly the slicks/suspension and you got everything you need.
122, even 125 for a ZR-1 seems awfully slow. A z06 typically does in that same 122-124 range and has a lot less power. Then again the ZR1 is on stock tires and drag racing isn't exactly its forte... They are built for high speed, high G cornering, and braking. It's not fair to compare any OEM car to a modded one (especially a highly modified one). Apples to oranges.

Im happy with the day, i wanted to break into the 11's and i wanted to trap 125. Second pass down i went 11.73 at 127. New goals are just to see how fast i can actually go on a bone stock motor. This is only the second time ive had the car on the track big turbo (3 passes last year), and first time with a 2-step. Im sure i have room to improve on my driving, so we should see low 11's soon.
