Stock engine upgraded turbo?

I'm looking to get a new turbo kit for my car, and right now i'm pushing about 69,400 miles on it. Is it standard to rebuild the engine or upgrade it slightly or are the stock internals fine? Also i was wondering how much can the stock engine go for? is cap at 100,000? Oh yeah by the way looking into buying the agp stage 3 delta complete kit.

stock motor is rated to 400-450hp i believe.


Just rebuild it to stock unless you plan to go crazy!

i got like 98,3xx on the clock. car runs great, and im goin for 300 or more on stocker. well probably a ported stocker. im also pretty sure i bought the car with a rebuilt motor. i just bought a short block from stage that im rebuilding oem and throwin in my srt by mid sept.

im with sean on this one, rebuild oem if ur not gunna go huge

If someone did even a decent job of maintaining it then I'm sure it has plenty of life left in it. If you want to get a rough idea you can just run a compression check on it.
