View Full Version : Anyone going to RSD at GLD this Friday?

As the title says, is anyone planning on goin to "Real Street Drags" at GLD this Friday?

I think if the weather holds out (pretty good chance of rain) I'll probably go down.

The premise is pretty cool, you can setup whatever races you want when you are there... Much like on the street but safe. So if you want to leave off a flag or give someone the hit you can do that. Sometimes there are big money races and callouts to be settled but you can also just race for fun and/or a cheeseburger or something.

RSD was rained out because of that crazy weather system that blew threw. However I was told by a buddy that it is rescheduled for this week Friday.

So bump this up for anyone interested in going.

Im going this friday... not going to run the car though, but a friend of mine is planning for 10's with his srt.

BTW the times won't be displayed on the screens since it's RSDs ;)

Although you should still get a slip.

Not who I was thinking of... Good to hear some of the local SRTs are stepping it up!

Tell him GL, and for whoever goes if you see a copper red 240, don't be afraid to stop by and say hi.

A little confused by the question. RSD is at GLD, I believe they also run one at WIR but that's pretty far up in WI.

For this event though I am talking about the one at GLD, occuring on Friday the 26th of June. I'm pretty sure it's $35 to race, $12 to spectate.
