In case anyone is wondering they do have race gas at the track. I just looked and the advertised CITGO 100 unleaded, 111 octane and 114 octane.

Would race gas be worth doing on a stock car? i assume it might, but i hear its like 6 bucks a gallon lol.

I heard from someone they did it on a stock car and screwed up the o2 sensor in the cat from it.

unless you are knocking it will not help. So if you are stock then you are not knocking so no it wont help.

kk, i wont do it, maybe an octane booster in a bottle would be fine lol.

I put 100 octane in my car when it was stock...didn't notice any difference really.

it shouldnt have made any difference. Your car isnt tuned to run on race gas

I tryed doing it when i first got my car and didnt feel a difference. I didnt know much about cars until I bought this thing

You guys should all go Google "octane" and find out what it really does.....
A stock car will see NO gains from anything higher than 93.
"My gas goes to 11...."
