Tri-Cities Area Meet

Who would be interested in getting a regular meet out in the St. Charles / Geneva / Batavia / South Elgin / North Aurora / surrounding areas ? I know my neighborhood would be accepting of a group coming in aslong as theres no burnouts (etc), and theres always tons of parking lot space in the area. I'm off Rt 64 ( North Ave / Main Street ) and Kirk ( Farnsworth ), and 10min from 64 and Randall.

Let me know if you're interested, what night would serve you the best, and where you're located. If theres a large group from one area then I'll talk to some businesses centrally located to see if we can use a parking lot there if there is a lot of people interested. Let me know!

oh i know but whenever I'm there, theres not another SRT in sight, once or twice a silver was there but it was the only car there and I think the owner was eating so I left him alone. Plus theres only a few decent cars - Supercharged 350Z ( but the owner was alright but he claimed 400whp + on a stillen supercharger and couldn't tell me which one etc ), one good WRX... the rest are beaters that I've seen.

What would everyone think about monday nights not at the wendy's but at the BW3s ( i know IL is new to the BW3s thing, but it's good wings, beer, and all the BW3s in ohio supporting car clubs coming in because it brought in more people to the location ). Would guys even a little bit more out consider coming to these meets if I could get permission from BW3s to park at their lot?

Also another possibility is the Rookie's on RT64 in St. Charles about a half mile from randall, they have 1$ burgers this month and next and they have car shows a lot ( including a mopar night ).

any input? let me know!

Yea your drive wouldn't be bad, I'm right off of north ave. on the east side of st. charles so if someone needs installs etc or want to meet up prior to going to rookie's they can just come to my place. chances are my neighbor across the street would pull out his built 70's charger if he saw a ton of mopars right across the way.

The 350z kid is all talk, his car can move though, he used to have an turbo integra that looked nice but was slow as shit. I grew up in STC and a lot of the kids have cars on mommy and daddy's budget and it pisses me off. Oh well. Anyhow, im in anywhere we go. Ill ask around and see if I can get a lot somewhere for us to call home.

I may have talked to the same 350z guy you did. I inadvertently dogged him for putting lowering springs on a 30k car and he continued to explain how it's the fastest thing in the parking lot at the Schaumburg hooters. of course the car wasn't even there that night.:rolleyes:

Everyone not on the outskirts of Elgin, like I am, speaks spanish, so of course they won't know where it is when I ask them in english.

I've been busy as hell lately and haven't had the time to head over to grimm's or rookie's to confirm that we can use the lot but i figure if sean, i, and whoever else can run up a decent sized tab then rookie's really won't care. I'll try to stop in early monday to rookie's assuming it's open by noon. Yes the meet is still on, just figure we'll have to be out by the bar closes at 1am ( i hate this 1am shit here in IL... WTF... 2, 3, 4am would be a hell of a lot better, i'm used to late nights. )

My neighbor has some friends over w/ a couple 60's and 70's cars - I do believe he was thinking about heading over to rookie's - there might be a car show tonight there - not 100% sure.
