No Rachael Dawes is played by Maggie Gyllenhaal, who replaced Kate Holmes because Tom Cruise won't let her in such a Crazy imaginary comic fantasy world...remember they are scientologists.

FYI-so far the movie has 3 deaths associated with it. Heath Ledger-obvious, Terry Armour-suntimes writer that interviewed me on set as an extra died of a heart attack, and one of the camera guys shooting in England.
